nowadays, the brand offers a very limited range of items that are often, (but not always,) produced in greater quantities.
but this is from a different era.
back when the brand had a much more diverse product selection with more limited productions of each product.
when chrome took creative risks to drop shit that was so out there it could either be fucking insane and adored by collectors for years to come or miss the mark altogether and be completely gaudy.
luckily, here's an example of a piece that didn't miss that mark.
as a junkie for the accessories and bags chrome puts out, this model, the moto bag, stands as one of my favorite pieces they ever did.
this isn't only because they've largely discontinued these in recent years, but also because it's a gem of the old era of chrome hearts; emphatic on craftsmanship over consumer appeal, appealing to the brand's natural strong suit.
and less concepually, this alpine plaid is one of the rarest materials they ever worked with, and the strap hardware is fucking unreal and to my knowledge, only featured on one other piece.
