this is a collaboration that was never released outside of japan and to our knowledge has never surfaced in the US market before now.
kyosuke himuro is a japanese rock legend. the guy basically invented the visual kei aesthetic and fronted BOØWY, one of the biggest rock bands in japanese history. chrome hearts linked with him for a "higher than heaven" merch run tied to his "angel" era and the result is one of the rarest chrome pieces we've ever had in the shop.
front pocket with "Higher than Heaven" script. back has a massive old english gothic "KYOSUKE HIMURO Angel" graphic with ornate filigree detailing that is unmistakably chrome hearts in execution. chrome hearts scroll branding at the bottom hem. every detail on this thing screams late 90s chrome at its peak.
the fade on this is absolutely unreal. black washed down to a deep slate grey with that perfectly even sun-worn patina across the entire body. the kind of fade that makes the white graphics float off the fabric.
heavyweight cotton long sleeve with ribbed cuffs. broken-in but still holding its shape and weight. this is a museum piece that you can actually wear.
