originally teased in the fall/winter 2017 lookbook and campaign, ERD shelved this polo for almost a year before debuting it on their iconic and legendary Christie’s runway in Paris the following year.
and honestly i can’t blame them. the world wasn’t ready for it.
this knit, featuring the brand’s iconic recurring chain motif, is among one of the most sought after pieces they’ve EVER made.
the quantity of these were so low, for years people even questioned if it even released in the first place.
but i’m here to reveal the truth and bust that myth.
right before your eyes is one of the holy grails for many collectors, old and new.
you quite literally have better luck finding fossils of a t rex in your backyard than finding another one of these.
this piece is so incredibly soft, i get people stopping me on the street all the time asking where it’s from. i wish i was joking.
